The 4th of July is just a few weeks away! Fire up those grills and get plenty of ice for those drinks. In addition to those fun backyard BBQs we can all agree fireworks are the most anticipated part of the holiday. If you’re in Howard County you’re in luck! Howard County and the Columbia Association are partnering to co host the annual 4th of July fireworks.
The show will begin around 9:20pm at the Lakefront in Columbia on July 4th. Make sure you get there early to get a good spot! If you’re in Ellicott City community Beechwood Vista this is only about a 15 minute drive!
The event will have free public parking located in the Mall in Columbia.
In addition to the fire show there will be two live bands, food trucks and vendors on site. The show will last approximately 20 minutes at Lake Kittamaqundi in Columbia.
Feel free to bring blanks and your own snacks, blankets can be placed after 3:00pm.
Entertainment is presented by Columbia Association and produced by Columbia Festival of the Arts.
- Instrumentalist and songwriter Bobby Thompson will perform from 6:00 p.m. – 7:15 p.m.
- 8 times Blue Music Award nominee Vanessa Collier will perform 7:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
