Need somewhere to go with the family to get into the Christmas Spirit? Historic Ellicott City is covered in glimmering lights and ready for the Christmas season. Main Street is full of wreaths, holiday cheer, and bustling stores this winter. Check out these upcoming events in December.

2nd Annual Cookie Crawl

When: December 11, 2019 at 5:30-8pm
Then take a stroll down Main Street with your free bakery bag and collect cookies from all the shops in town. Festivities start with the Holiday Garden Lighting at 5:30pm and a visit from Santa. It’s a great scavenger hunt to do with your family and friends. You can even do a little gift shopping while you collect your delicious cookies.

Holiday Talent Show

When: December 14, 2019 at 10am-5pm
With hot chocolate and pastry in hand, take in the holiday spirit and listen to some popular holiday tunes. Head to Old Mill Cafe and listen to local musicians play original songs as Christmas classics! Come early because seats are limited.

Toys for Tots Drive

When: December 14th, 2019 at 10am-8pm
During your holiday shopping bring along an unwrapped toy to any of the donation locations and be apart of something bigger. Toys for Tots bring holiday happiness to kids in need. When you donate, you will be able to get special deals in participating stores on Main Street.

Vintage Truck Workshop

When: December 14, 2019 at 4-6pm
Get crafty and make your own holiday decor. Head on over to Reclaimed by You and make your own painted Christmas sign with a classic vintage truck. It’s a great activity and when your guests come over and ask where you bought it, you can actually say that you made it. Since it’s DIY, you can customize it with your family name on it.

A Creepy Little Christmas at the Brewery

When: December 15, 2019 at 7-9pm
Wish Halloween was just a little bit longer? Get the best of both worlds at this Creepy Little Christmas. Visit Ellicott Mills Brew Company and take a darker look at Christmas legends and lore with a beer in your hand. If you liked the movie Krampus, you’ll like this twisted holiday party. Leave the kids at home for this festive event and have fun!
