If you live in our Rockburn Estates community or any of our Howard County neighborhoods, you know about the surprising news that hit the streets of Ellicott City a couple of months ago. We had a celebrity in town! Gordon Ramsay surprised all of us with a trip to Ellicott City to help repair the damage from the last 2 floods. Within a week, they helped turn around multiple businesses through the famous chef’s TV show. On May 12, see Historic Ellicott City come to life again on Fox.
24 Hrs. To Hell and Back
Follow Gordan Ramsay as he travels across the country to help struggling kitchens. Once there, he recruits other celebrities to help out. He does secret surveillance of the restaurants to help experience problems first hand. Then he brings in a team of designers, chefs, and so many more to help out each struggling restaurant.
Nate Berkus
One of the designers was the popular Nate BerkusHis style and home renovations always floor us with how amazing he is. He helped style some of the restaurants in town and showcased the story of Ellicott City by designing a window front. Are you as obsessed with Nate as we are? Little Market Cafe
This cafe features incredible breakfast and lunch sandwiches that are the perfect size to keep you full. Made with fresh ingredients, you can’t go wrong with this local eatery. Hit with the devastation from the floods, they are still in recovery mode. Gordan Ramsay swept in with support, giving it a total makeover and renovation.
Phoenix Brewing Company
Ellicott Mills Brewing company made the announcement that they were going to be taken over by Phoenix earlier this year. The original location of the Phoenix will be torn down due to water hazard management. Gordan Ramsay has helped make the transition smooth. He has renovated the inside, given new signs, and dressed up the menu!
Jaxon Edwin
Barbershop, Coffee Bar, & Games! Oh my! Jaxon Edwin has evolved into an Ellicott City staple. With its high-quality barbershop, anyone can get their haircut with a side of whiskey. This unique social house is great for everyone. We’re still waiting to hear back what the TV show did, but we are looking forward to it!
