Gaver Farm Fall Fun Festivalis another perfect event to take the kids. It’s located about 30 minutes from Acra Acres / Gladys Woods, Rockburn Estates inMt. Airy, MD. The farm will be open throughout fall so get yourticketssoon!
The Corn Maze at Gaver Farm is a popular attraction in addition to 60 other fun attractions. The farm has plenty of picnic areas and free hayrides. You can also pick your own pumpkins and apples.

Local Farmer’s Markets
It’s amazing what you can find at a good farmer’s market. Howard County has plenty. From finding fresh produce, to sweets, to decorations and items for the house it’s a win win. It also feels good to support locals and their businesses.
Howard County Farmers Marketis a town favorite. There are always plenty of vendors to choose from and it’s great to get out and see your neighbors.
The Farmers Market at Maple Lawnis another great farmer’s market in Fulton, MD, about 20 minutes from ourAcra Acres / Gladys Woods, Rockburn Estates communities It’s open only on Saturdays so it’s great for an afternoon getaway.
Local Nature Center
Robinson Nature Centeris located right near you in Columbia, MD. It’s the perfect place to bring your family and friends for an afternoon of informational fun. The Nature center focuses on learning about natural resources and promoting environmental awareness.
